Our holiday home is located at the edge of a forest in a central location in Upper Austria, 5 km from Kremsmünster Abbey. This quiet location offers children the opportunity to play safely and allows adults to enjoy a truly relaxing vacation, as our guesthouse is situated in a secluded lane that invites relaxation.

In Kremsmünster, the abbey itself is already worth a visit, offering various events such as the Christmas market and the Harvest Festival. There are also religious services, such as the High Mass, as well as spiritual impulses and guidance available.

Currently, the high altar painting is being restored – the abbey is a protected monument.

Kremsmünster Abbey also offers a variety of attractions, such as its gardens, winery, monastery shop, fish ponds, and guided tours of the abbey, which require prior registration.

Around Kremsmünster, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, as well as numerous hiking, riding, and cycling paths. Various maps for these activities are available at the Kremsmünster town hall. Not to be overlooked are the Schacher ponds, which are also worth a visit.

And last but not least: the many mountains can be viewed from the observation tower at the famous "Tree in the Middle of the World" – perhaps you'll spot your next summit goal.
